Cloquet Police Department Warn About the Dangers of ‘NERF Wars’

The Cloquet Police Department is reaching out to the public to warn about the dangers of playing 'NERF Wars'.

The police department says "that NERF wars this year is getting out of hand." And they are warning young people playing the game to "Do not do anything illegal for the sake of a game. This includes your driving conduct and entering other participants' homes without permission."

Each year students organize the CEC Nerf Wars as a fundraiser, last year they raised $1,200 for the REACH program.

Police say, "This event is supposed to be fun and a great fundraiser. Thank you for giving back to our community! Please do it safely."
