Superior Garbage Pick Up Schedule Changes For Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is next Thursday, and the City Of Superior will be closed on Thursday and Friday of next week. The closure includes the municipal landfill, which will result in an altered garbage pick up schedule for next week.

If you're garbage is picked up on Mondays, there will be no change for you. All other pick up days are asked to have your garbage cans out at 7:00 am TWO DAYS EARLY. So if you normally have your garbage picked up on Wednesday, have it out at 7am on Monday, etc.

Recycling will also be affected but only for Thursday and Friday where it will be delayed by one day. If you have questions on that you can contact Hartels/DBJ at 218-729-5446.

While it may be a minor inconvenience for homeowner, accommodating this schedule will help those employees spend quality time with their families over the holiday weekend. Be sure to remember to get your garbage cans out early. You'll likely have a full can worth of garbage after the holiday!
