The Chris Young concert tonight at AMSOIL Arena has been postponed to Saturday, January 9th.  The DECC has issued a press release, telling ticket holders to keep their tickets for the postponed show.

Here is the press release from Jeff Stark from the DECC:

Unfortunately Chris Young is battling a case of strep throat. While he never wants to disappoint his fans, he has been advised by doctors that he cannot perform today. Tonight’s Chris Young show has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a date in 2016 - we will have a confirmed date over the next day. All previously purchased tickets will be honored. For those who cannot make the rescheduled date, refunds will be available at point of purchase. We’re sorry for this inconvenience and look forward to seeing you in 2016.

Chris Young's management team also passed along a personal message from Chris to his fans in Duluth.

Hey guys, I'm battling a case of strep throat. I never want to disappoint you, but I've been advised by doctors that I cannot perform today. Tonight’s show in Duluth has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a date in 2016 that will be announced in the next day. All previously purchased tickets will be honored. For those who cannot make the rescheduled date, refunds will be available at point of purchase. Again, I'm really sorry to let you down, but I plan to see you in early 2016. Love you guys!
