Central Entrance Dollar Tree Sign Nearly Falls on Road

One lane of traffic on Central Entrance was closed this afternoon as crews secured a sign.

The sign of the Dollar Tree store was broken off at the base and nearly fell onto the roadway. A strap was tied on the sign and secured to a truck, keeping the sign from falling.

Duluth Fire and Police were on the scene and sign contractors and electricians were arriving to remedy the situation.

Thankfully no one was injured and the sign was secured without incident.
