The Social House Closes Second Location In Canal Park

This is a huge bummer! A popular breakfast and lunch spot in Canal Park is closing. This is one of the best spots to eat in the area in my opinion and it's a huge bummer it won't be an option for those staying in Canal Park.

The Social House is no longer in Canal Park, sharing the message to their fans on social media Monday (March 31st). The good news? Their Hermantown location is still open!

While they didn't give an exact reason for the closure, they did thank all of their loyal customers and fans for the support over the past three years in this second location. They write that they are 'incredibly grateful' for the memories made at the spot over the years.

Of course, so many people flooded the comments sharing their sadness about it. This second location opened in June of 2023, just in time for Grandma's Marathon.

Here's How You Can Still Support The Social House

Like I mentioned, this was their second location. Their first location in Hermantown is still open and will continue to be every single day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. That location can be found at 4897 Miller Trunk Highway.

The restaurant is famous for its fun take on classics, serving both breakfast and lunch. They have some fun breakfast options. I am not a huge breakfast person but I always crave their breakfast because it always looks so good!

It looks like there's one less option for dining when you are in Canal Park. This was a great option for people traveling and staying in Canal Park, but also locals who want something a little different that you can't find anywhere else.

Thankfully, you can still head to their Hermantown location. Okay, now I am absolutely dreaming of this buffalo quesadilla. I might have to make that happen at some point this week. Yum!
