This helps make the situation a little bit more bear-able.

Recently, Build-A-Bear Workshops across the United States announced their 'Pay Your Age' promotion, which offered a huge discount on stuffed animals for one day only. That day was today (Thursday, July 12).

It seems the company underestimated just how popular the promotion would be because stores across the country were more than packed to the brim.

According to reports, parents stood in line for up to six hours in order to go home with a plush toy. The line at the Duluth location was wrapped around the mall.

Many had to turn around and leave as stores ran out of prime toys and lines grew even longer. They also cited safety concerns on Twitter. Now, Build-A-Bear is trying to make it up to them - the store is offering a $15 dollar voucher.

If you were in line or even unable to make it that far, you can cash in. All you have to do is log into your Build-A-Bear account by midnight on Sunday, July 15th. Click to print or screenshot the voucher.

There are a few limitations: you can only print out one voucher per account. This coupon is good for in-store purchases only and it must be used by August 31st of this year.

Build-A-Bear reps are suggesting those that do take advantage of the voucher deal wait a few weeks before heading back to the store so they can avoid a situation like Thursdays.
