Brett Eldredge is The Best of 2014 [VIDEOS]

Looking back on this past year of country music, there is no single person that stands out more in my mind as a great artist to country music.  Brett Eldredge is someone we can be proud to call "one of ours" in the industry.  He is classy, he is fun, he is deep, and most of all he is talented. 

He has sex appeal that doesn't involve him shaking his hips to pop sounding crap.  He sings about more than dirt roads and tailgates.  He is a fresh sound to country music, and he finally got recognition this year from CMA's as New Artist of the Year.

He can go from playing fun songs like "Don't Ya,"  to deep serious songs like "Mean To Me."

If you dig deeper you'll find some really emotional songs that show his range.  Like "Raymond."

So for my pick for the best thing to happen to country music in 2014, it's this guy.  Look for Brett to win more and more awards in 2015.
