Bong Center To Host Blood Drive This February
This is a great way to give back to the community. Superior Public Museums and the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center have teamed up to host a blood drive for the community.
The blood drive will take place on Friday, February 5th. It will begin at 10 a.m. that morning and continue until about 5 p.m. that evening.
It doesn't cost a thing to donate blood. In fact, if you do decide to donate, you will receive a coupon for discounts at Bong Center and Superior Public Museums. You will also get a coupon for a free cup of coffee from Dunkin' and a free t-shirt.
If you would like to donate blood at the drive, you can save yourself time and schedule an appointment online. You can do so any of the following ways:
- Visit www.mbc.org/searchdrives and enter in the code "4904"
- Reach out to the Bong Center by email at info@bongcenter.org
- Reach out to the Bong Center by phone at 715-392-7151
The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center is located at 305 East 2nd Street in Superior. According to the event page, blood supply is low due to the pandemic. They are looking for donations from all blood types to help and donate.
In other news, it was announced that the popular Escape The Bong fundraiser will be back again this year at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center. They have four different room themes to choose from. You can take part from February 12th through the 14th. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. I did it last year and it was awesome!
