It's a chance to get the inside scoop on the lighting of the Blatnik Bridge.  We've received word from the Minnesota Department Of Transportation that the public is invited to an open house to learn more about a new lighting system being designed for the Blatnik Bridge in Duluth.  The new lighting system will replace the original lighting system that had previously lit the center span on the bridge.

The open house will be held Wednesday, August 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MnDOT Headquarters, 1123 Mesaba Avenue, Duluth, MN  55811 in Conference Rooms A and B.

Open house attendees will be able to see visual renderings of the bridge lighting designs, discuss the designs with project staff and leave comments.

There will also be presentations about the lighting design alternatives beginning at 5:30pm.
