Bionic Arms & The Future Is Here [VIDEO]

I saw a Yahoo! news story about how a kid received a special BB-8 inspired bionic arm from a company called Open Bionics. Mark Hamill was even impressed and tweeted back at the kid. I thought it was a great story, but then I dug deeper to see if the arm actually was bionic or just a prop. Turns out these things are amazing, and the future is here.

We've gotten so spoiled with technological advances happening everyday that we sometimes forget to take a step back and look at how amazing our world is. If you had told me 20 years ago that they would have a bionic arm that reacts to your muscle signals before 2020, I wouldn't have believed you. But here it is.

What I love about this company is that they aren't trying to mask the arms as human. They want to celebrate the person's uniqueness and lets them customize them how they want. Pretty amazing stuff.  Check out the video.  Bravo, Open Bionics.
