Bib Transfers Open For 2026 Grandma’s Marathon Races
Didn't snag a bib during the craziness of Grandma's Marathon registration? The day you've been looking for is here!
If you're reading this, you probably already know that the races for 2026 sold out in record time - faster than ever in the history of the event!

More than 19,000 runners have already signed up between the three races: the full marathon, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and the fun William A. Irvin 5K.
Twelve hours after registration opened earlier this month, all of the races were sold out. If you didn't get a bib, you're in luck because the portal is now open for bib transfer!
Bib Transfer Portal Open For 2026 Grandma's Marathon Races
This is the perfect way to snag a legitimate bib from someone that can no longer race. To find out who is selling a bib, join the official Grandma's Marathon Bib Transfer Group on Facebook, linked in the announcement post from the race (see below.)

You can then transfer your bib or get a bib from someone else selling theirs via Race Roster. Please be careful, as there are lots of scammers out there. Do not buy a bib third-party or outside of the official Race Roster website.
Other Ways You Can Get A Bib For The 2026 Grandma's Marathon Races
If you don't want to buy a bib from someone, you have options! You can become a charity runner, raising money for one of Grandma's many charity sponsors. If you raise the money needed, which varies based on the organization, you get entry into the race of your choice.

You can also join the official Grandma's Marathon training group! If you're a part of that group, you get entry into the race of your choice with the purchase of the group plan. I have done it the past few years and love it.
