A Guide To Spring In The Northland For Newcomers
Spring is finally here! Well, kind of. If you've lived in the Northland for a while, you're well aware of the challenges we face in the springtime that don't necessarily happen in other parts of Minnesota.
Much of that is thanks to Lake Superior and our Northern climate. I've had friends who have moved to Duluth or Superior from different parts of the country, and they get caught off guard when spring comes around. Or, at least what we call spring here in the Northland.

Let's get one thing straight: Spring is a good thing. Don't get me wrong. I love when it finally comes and we can finally emerge from our winter blues. But if you're new to the area, there's somethings you need to know about spring here.
