60 Seconds With Casey James
Casey James is as honest in an interview as he is with his music. The Texan and one-time 'American Idol' contestant took a few minutes -- OK, just one minute -- to dish on his troubled youth, his showering preferences and how Keith Urban will do on the show that launched his career nearly three years ago. We already covered questions of inspiration, heartbreak and love in previous interviews, so it was time to get the real scoop from the 'Cryin' on a Suitcase' himater.
60 Second With Casey James
Question 1: It's back to school season, were you ever suspended in school?
Oh yes.
Question 2: What for?
A million different random things. It took me awhile to learn respect and kindness so there were times that I did things that I definitely regret.
Question 3: How often do you wash your hair?
On average, every week and a half.
Question 4: What kind of shampoo do you use?
Uhh… I don't even know.
Question 5: Is your bathroom at home cleaner than the bathroom in your new music video for 'Crying on a Suitcase?'
Uh, yes! [laughs]
Question 6: Do you play fantasy sports?
No. I wish I did, though. I just don't have the time.
Question 7: What is the best album you've bought recently?
Umm... I'm going to say 'Born and Raised' from John Mayer.
Question 8: When was the last time a girl slapped you?
I don't know that a girl has ever slapped me before.
Question 9: When was your last hangover?
I don't know, six years ago.
Question 10: And because it's the law to ask you one thing about 'American Idol'... Keith Urban as a judge -- any thoughts on how he'd do? (Note: James was asked this before the official announcement was made.)
Oh wow! I think he'd do great. Someone asked me the other day what my choice would be and I chose him.
