We are now just hours away from Tyler Farr's show at Bayfront Festival Park!

It will be an amazing time. Openers include Whiskey Trail, Nelly and up-and-coming country artist Drew Baldridge.

You probably recognize his name. The rising musician has made a name for himself in Nashville, touring with huge country artists and charting on the Country Airplay charts. He will be a household name before you know it!

I did a little research into the man behind the music so you could get to know him before he hits the stage tomorrow.

(By the way - don't forget to join me at 310 Pub in Canal Park prior to the show. There will be special drink deals and keg cocktails and $5 pub grub. As if that wasn't reason enough to attend, I will also be giving away tickets to the show and special VIP passes that get you up close to the stage. You can still get tickets to the show here.)

Here are 5 things to know about Drew Baldridge.

He's Inspired By All Types Of Music

According to his biography, Baldridge has loved country music since the age of 5 when he first heard Alabama - but that's not all! He also cites Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind & Fire as musical influences, along with backwoods blues.

    He's Charitable

Baldridge loves music but he also loves giving back, too. He chooses a new charity every month and donates proceeds raised from sales of a special t-shirt sold at his shows and online. The shirt says "WERD" which stands for Win, Encourage, Rejoice, Daily.

He's No Stranger To The Road

This isn't his first rodeo. He's opening upcoming shows for Eric Church, Reba McEntire and Craig Campbell. He's also hit the road with Cole Swindell and Lee Brice. That's quite an impressive resume.

    He Just Celebrated A Birthday

Baldridge celebrated his birthday just a few days ago. He was seemingly dreading it, posting on his social media pages that he was "starting to feel old" with his impending 27th birthday. Maybe this calls for one giant happy birthday sing-a-long Thursday?!
