The 2022 running of Grandma's Marathon and Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon are in the books, capping off an exciting return to full capacity - being sold out for the first time since 2016.

One of the big headlines is Minnesotan Dakotah Lindwurm winning the women's division of Grandma's Marathon for a second straight year. Lindwurm became the first Minnesotan to win the race sine the 1991, returning once again this year to defend her title as the women's champion. Additionally, both Aaron Pike and Susannah Scaroni posted course records in the men's and women's wheelchair event.

Also down below, we have an extensive photo gallery from the finish line and places along the course, including images of winners and many of the other participants of the day's events.

After a 2021 Grandma's weekend that saw a smaller than normal race field, this year's participation sold out fast, marking the first time in 6 years that the weekend's races had sold out.

The weather was also generally cooperative, offering a bit of a tailwind and cooler conditions in the 50's through much of the day due to a breeze off the lake. While the sky was generally clear for the elite finishers, clouds crept into the picture through the later morning hours for the rest of the day.
