20 Places The Bachelorette Should Film In Minnesota + The Twin Ports
Who doesn't love to watch a television show set in the place they call home? I love it.
You probably know by now that the next season of The Bachelorette will be filming in Minnesota for about a month. This may seem random but it isn't: our next lead of the show is from Edina, Minnesota.
Michelle Young was named as the next lead of the show earlier this year after she made it to the final two on her season of The Bachelor. She was let go before the final rose ceremony and Matt James, the lead that season, ultimately chose the other woman.
Don't cry for Michelle though, because she will soon have a ton of men fighting for her love and affection! It will all go down in Minneapolis and Minnesota. That makes the whole thing even more exciting!
Two of those men are from our neck of the woods. The contestants who will be fighting for Michelle's final rose were announced recently and one is from Minnesota and one is from Wisconsin! We think they will all have a lot in common.
Reality Steve is known for spoiling every season of the show for awhile now and he was able to break the big news that the show will be filming for most of August in Minneapolis. According to his report, the cast will be staying at the Marquette Hotel and will film in local locations around the area.
At the time of writing this, only one of those local locations has been locked down. The cast will film at the Semple Mansion, which is a wedding venue with amazing views of downtown Minneapolis.
There is not word at the time of writing this if they will be branching out from the Twin Cities area. I got to thinking - what would be some other cool locations they could film at while on location in Minnesota?
We all know Duluth is absolutely gorgeous and would provide an amazing backdrop to film the show. There are also some cool places in other parts of the Twin Ports. I even came up with some suggestions for places they could go while filming the main part of the show in Minneapolis.
While we will have to wait until the season airs to see exactly where they go and to see Minnesota shine on screen, I put my suggestions into a list. Producers, are you listening?
By the way, Michelle's season of The Bachelorette premieres on Tuesday, October 19th. Let's see if any of these spots make the cut!
