With the Holiday Weekend Approaching, Country Throwback Honors America

I'm still not sure where June went, but Fourth Of July Weekend is approaching so I have plenty of great songs to choose from for my Country Throwback. Lee Greenwood is always a classic, as are numerous patriotic Toby Keith hits, but I decided to go with a big hit from from Aaron Tippin.

"Where The Stars & Stripes & Eagle Fly" was released in the wake of 9/11, peaking at number 2 on the country singles chart. Not only was it a big hit, but it also served an important purpose as all proceeds from the single went to the Red Cross and its relief efforts for the families of the September 11 attacks.
