Grandma's Marathon caps the William A. Irvin 5K at 2,000 runners, a 100 runner increase from last year.  Will you be part of the pack?  Besides the Whippersnapper Races, this is the kick-off to Grandma's Marathon weekend.  WAY more than 2,000 people register for a bib number for this race, so mark your calendars for March 13, that's when registration opens for this popular race!

It's a 3.1 out and back race starting at 6p on Friday, June 20.  The race begins and ends near the historic William A. Irvin ship and the DECC.  Incidentally, before and/or after the race, you can visit the health and fitness expo and see the latest in race attire, shoes and other fun running related items.  You can also enjoy a delicious Michelina's All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti dinner with fixin's.  The entry fee of $30 remains unchanged from a year ago.

Registration remains open for the 38th annual Grandma’s Marathon set for Saturday, June 21. The final entry fee increase occurs April 1 when the current $95 fee rises to $110, where it will remain until registration closes May 31.

Despite the lottery entry process for the 24th annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon being closed, there are a limited number of spots available through the race’s charity partner, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
