What's Replacing This Old Gas Station?

There is an old, vacant building that pretty much sits in the parking lot of our radio station. It used to be a gas station but those days are over.

Rumors have been swirling for awhile about what is going into the spot but overall, it has remained untouched for some time.

A few days ago, I noticed a bunch of construction workers pulling up and for the past week, they have been steadily working on the outside. The old signage still remains.

That got me thinking - what is going into this building? I wanted to find out so I walked out the front doors and over to the site. When I ask what was going in, the workers told me they didn't know yet. Sigh.

This may be a lie or they may not be able to say just yet. In my perfect world, a Caribou Coffee or Starbucks store - or really a coffee shop of any kind - would move in. Although, that might not be ideal for my coffee addiction.

It looks like we will have to wait and see. Only time will tell if this dream will come true. Ha!
