The United States Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board has already done a preliminary animation on what went wrong this spring at the Superior Husky Refinery.

The explosion and subsequent fire caused most of Superior and surrounding communities to evacuate. It's a day that we locally will never forget. We knew there was an explosion, but we didn't understand how it happened. This animation now sheds some light and hopefully the ongoing investigation can ensure nothing like this happens again.
