One of the biggest stories over the weekend was the death of longtime ESPN anchor Stuart Scott.  I am an ESPN fan from years ago and I remember seeing Stuart Scott for the fist time.  I have to admit that I was not a fan the first time I heard some of his now popular catchphrases, but my opinion would soon change.

I went from thinking he was trying too hard to be hip to realizing that Stuart Scott was just being himself, he was being real.  It was then then that I appreciated his talent.  As the years went by and I learned more about the man, I became a fan.

If you watch SportsCenter, you know that the anchors are partnered up and sometimes it can be more entertaining than the highlights themselves.  That was the case with Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann and with Stuart Scott and Rich Eisen.

Rich Eisen is now with NFL Network and once he learned of his friends passing, he offered this wonderful, touching tribute.

R.I.P Stuart Scott.
