On a night that featured Adrian Peterson returning to Minnesota seeking revenge on his former team, it was Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford who stole the show and the NFL has recognized his efforts.

NFL.com is reporting that Sam Bradford has been named the NFC Offensive Player Of The Week.  Bradford was nearly flawless, completing 27 of 32 attempts for 346 yards and three scores in the 29-19 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

The Vikings will face a tougher defensive opponent on the road Sunday as they travel to Pittsburgh to face the 1-0 Steelers.
