UMD Championship Bulldog Hockey Team To Throw Out First Pitch At Twins Game

Our very own UMD Bulldogs Men's Hockey Team gets the honor to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming Twins game.  They just stunned the college hockey world with their backdoor entry into the NCAA frozen four and then went on to beat Notre Dame (again) to win the championship.  Now maybe they can pass on some of their good luck to the struggling baseball team, who are off to a 9-15 start.

They will throw out the first pitch at the upcoming May 15th game against the St. Louis Cardinals. They announced the news on their UMD Athletics's Facebook page.

Also taking place at the May 15th is a promotion that health care professionals may be interested in. It's "Scrubs Night," where fans with a valid ticket will get a pair of Minnesota Twins branded scrubs. You can read more about this promotion and even buy tickets ahead of the game.
