Two Robberies Took Place In Hermantown on Saturday Night

Two robberies took place in Hermantown within an hour on Saturday night, and the police department is asking for the public's hep with any information.

The first robbery happened on Loberg Avenue around 10pm. Two men attacked a women and then stole her cell phone, and attempted to steal her wallet. The criminals ran off and split into different directions as they ran away. The victim also noticed their were other people with the robbers when they ran.

Later around 10:30, the Lakes 10 Theatre was robbed after a man jumped over the counter and assaulted employees while demanding cash and threatening them with a gun. The male then fled with a large sum of money.

An older tan Chevy pickup with rust spots may be related to the second robbery.
