The Minnesota Twins have reportedly signed free agent Logan Morrison, who hit a career-high 38 home runs for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays last season.  This helps address one of the Twins big needs going into the season.

Going into spring training this year, the Minnesota Twins had glaring needs at starting pitcher and power in their lineup.  Their biggest move to strengthen their rotation so far was to trade for Tampa Bay starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi.

Now, with the addition of former Devil Ray Morrison, the Twins have not only added veteran power, but a player who can play first base when Joe Mauer needs a break and can help ease the blow if Miguel Sano suffers a setback in his return from injury.

I still believe the Twins need to sign another quality starting pitcher, especially with staff ace Ervin Santana out with injury, but I like the current aggressive mentality of the front office.  It's a refreshing change from past years and I hope it continues throughout spring.
