Everyone regardless of age is invited to enjoy making memories with fun activities thanks to the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation department.  The Gobbler Glide at the Duluth Heritage Sports Center will have free skating, making holiday cards for military and even frozen turkey bowling!

The Heritage Sports Center is located at 120 South 30th Ave West and will have free open skating and other fun activities available on Wednesday, November 16 from 6:30-8p. There are limited skates available for rental, it would be best to bring your own. Kids under 10 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet and greet local military service men and women and make holiday cards for our military members stationed overseas. There will be drawings for free turkeys and even frozen turkey bowling. (those aren’t the turkeys they’re drawing for). Whole Foods Co-op will share healthy treats and recipes.

Of course, while you're having all that fun you can have a great feeling knowing that you're helping families in need in our community if you bring a non-perishable food item to donate for our area food shelves.
