If you're a Northland hunter in Wisconsin who uses temporary tree stands, you know all too well that you must take them back down at the end of the day.  However, the Wisconsin DNR is discussing changing that law in state-managed forests north of Highway 64.

A meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, and if they decide to change that law, hunters would be allowed to keep temporary tree stands up overnight.

The meeting will take place at the State Natural Resources Building, 101 South  Webster Street, Room G09 – starting at 8:30 AM.
