The City of Superior has announced that there will be two upcoming free landfill days to residents later this month. Here's what is free to dump.

The Superior landfill opened up this week to residents. There are some changes you should be prepared for.

The City of Superior has their yearly spring clean up free landfill days, and they've announced when they are happening this year.

Residents will see a decrease in their garbage fees, instead of the scheduled increase that was to take place next year.

This year the free days will take place on two Saturdays in October. The first will be on the 20th, and the second a week later on the 27th.

With fall cleanup in full gear across the Northland, the worst part is often having to deal with what to do with all your yard waste and garbage. Luckily, for Superior residents, there are two free landfill days coming up.

Superior residents will be able to dispose of unwanted items for free at the Superior Landfill on October 29th and November 5th from 8:00-2:30.  It's a nice chance to the house and garage cleaned up before the snow flies, but there is a list of things that won't be accepted.

This Saturday, and again on October 17th, Superior residents can take advantage of free landfill days.  It's the perfect opportunity to get rid of trash, leaves, tires, and a lot of those other things that tend to build up over time.
