A couple of people got a pretty nice surprise when they were driving through North Central Wisconsin. They spotted a herd of 21 elk crossing the road, and they caught it on camera.
The Minnesota DNR will grant just 30 elk licenses this year. Hunters looking to participate in a once-in-lifetime hunt need to apply by Friday, June 11.
The Minnesota DNR is now accepting applications for elk hunting licenses and due to an increase in the elk population, more antlerless hunts will be allowed.
