This Saturday, October 21st, a benefit will be held for 18-year-old Mackenzie Rae Jarve of Kettle River at Bricks Pub and Grub in Wrenshall. A spaghetti fundraiser for $10 a plate along with a silent auction and bean bag tournament will help raise funds to defray the expenses incurred as a result of Mackenzie’s accident.
In August, Mackenzie was a passenger in a vehicle when her boyfriend’s vehicle slammed into the back of a stalled truck in their driving lane. The accident resulted
in a life-altering severe neck and spinal cord injury.

Makenzie is now home with her family in Kettle River. They have to drive for medical treatments. Their house will have to be remodeled to accommodate Mackenzie’s chair and other assistive devices. So, a benefit is being held for Mackenzie Rae Jarve. To defray costs associated with medical expenses and house renovations to accommodate Mackenzie.

You can enjoy a plate of Spaghetti, $10 a plate, bean bag tournament, silent auction and music from Guiding Light Entertainment
