As construction continues on the Duluth Transportation Center, the DTA informs us of a road closure that starts today and may last the next three weeks.

The detour will be along Michigan Street beginning today, Monday, October 12.   They are going to be installing signal lights and doing some additional roadwork which will cause Michigan Street to be closed between 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Avenue West.  This will  including the intersection at 3rd Avenue West and Michigan Street.

You can expect two-way traffic on Michigan Street between 3rd Avenue West and 4th Avenue West to accommodate traffic coming-and-going from the parking lots located along that section of Michigan Street, during the closures.

Hang in there, these closures and the detour will last for less than three weeks.
