Section of Michigan Street, Downtown Duluth Closed Today For Utility Repairs

Heads up if you are planning a trip to downtown Duluth today.  They are working on some utility repairs that will temporarily close Michigan Street.  Here's the scoop!

The City of Duluth sent a press release to inform us that the section of Michigan Street at 1st Ave W will be closed for most of today, January 12.  It seems there was a water leak that is in need of repair.  You can expect Michigan Street between 1st Ave West and 1st Ave East to be temporarily converted to two way traffic to allow access to the MN Power parking facilities. Note that during the time of repair, there will be no on-street parking allowed in the project area.
