If you regularly drive up the North Shore, you'll want to be aware of this.  MNDOT has announced that they will begin work on Highway 61 on the Cut Face River Bridge on October 12th.

The bridge is 6 miles south of the Gun Flint Trail and traffic will be reduced to one lane.  Crews will be paving shoulders and installing guard rails.  The project is expected to be completed by the end of the workday on October 15th.
