There's a new option for your next overnight stay. A new boutique hotel has opened in Lincoln Park and it differs from others in the area.

It's called Hotel Pikku and according to their site, was "created to give visitors to Duluth a place to stay that reflects the things we love about our city."

Hotel Pikku is a three-suite hotel in the heart of the Lincoln Park Craft District.

Here's some history: the building was first purchased for $120,000 three years ago. According to the Duluth News Tribune, the space was first a store and studio with apartments upstairs.

DNT also reports each suite has a living room, bedroom, bathroom, a unique piece of art with a few kitchen units stocked with pots, pans, plates and glassware.

Rooms run between $100 to $150 per night, which can be rented out on the hotel's website or on Airbnb.

The location is ideal as it is walking distance from the new Corktown Deli & Brews, Love Creamery and of course, Bent Paddle Brewing Company.

Hotel Pikku is located at 1923 West Superior Street.

You can get a feel for the new hotel by browsing through the photos posted on their Facebook page.
