In celebration of two decades as one-half of the award-winning band Montgomery Gentry, Eddie Montgomery will hit the road in January to promote the duo's new album Here's to You. The trek will be Montgomery's first since the tragic death of his duo partner, Troy Gentry, in a helicopter crash on Sept. 8.

“I’m anxious to get back out on the road and play some new music for our friends and fans,”  Montgomery shares in a press release. “Next year marks the 20th anniversary of our band – we’ve got lots to celebrate and look forward to in 2018.”

Shortly after Gentry's death, it was revealed that he and Montgomery had recently completed a new record; the first single "Better Me," was released in September, as a tribute to the late singer. In a recent interview, Montgomery opened up about losing his musical partner of nearly two decades and how he will be keeping Gentry's memory alive.

“He was more than just a singer," Montgomery says. "He was a brother, and he was always there. As far as I’m concerned, we’re still making music together.”
