As finals week wraps up, McNally Smith College of Music in Minnesota is shutting down suddenly after the end of the fall semester.

Jack McNally, the board chair for McNally, sent out an email last Thursday night informing the staff of the shutdown, according to mprnews.com. The school cites declining enrollment and competitive scholarships as key factors of closing. The school did set up an transfer enrollment page on their website to help the transition for students if they wanted help. The school will reportedly close it's doors for good at the conclusion of the semester, which is Wednesday, December 20th.

You feel for the students and staff. Hard to imagine being told one day that the school you attend/work for is going to be no longer so suddenly.
