You're invited to spend some time skating at the Essentia Health Duluth Heritage Sports Center, 120 South 30th Avenue West with Boo Bash and this week when the kids are off from school.  The City of Duluth has you covered with free open skating.

Everyone regardless of age is invited to enjoy making memories with your family with fun skating activities.  You'll want to keep this list of dates handy to take advantage of all the free skating opportunities.

Open Skate

Because the kids will be off from school this Thursday and Friday they will be holding special skating hours on both Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21 from 1:30-3:30p.  Oh, and as a reminder, there is open indoor ice skating available during the school year each Wednesday night 6:30-8 PM.  You need to remember to bring your own skates and helmets and children who are 10 an under should have a responsible adult with them.

Boo Bash

Celebrate the season of Halloween on your skates at a free event the City of Duluth is calling Boo Bash.  The fun will be on October 26 from 6:30-8 PM.  It's open to all ages and costumes are encouraged, as long as you can safely skate in them.  Dance to live music, get your face painted, spider experiments, treats and don't be surprised (or freaked out) by the haunted locker rooms!  Please help others in need by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate.
