It's a new year, perhaps it's the year you start a new career.  An upcoming workshop in Duluth may help you land your next job.

Professionals with the Duluth Workforce Center and the Northland Human Resource Association are partnering for a workshop to help job seekers to gain knowledge and tips to earn employment.

On Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, this one day workshop will feature human resources professionals providing one-to-one assistance for resume building and conducting mock interviews.  A panel of experts will review the “do’s and don’ts” of job seeking.

Employers will also be present to talk to prospective applicants, with some conducting interviews on site at 402 West First Street in downtown Duluth.

Employers taking part is expected to include:

  • Essentia (will be doing on-the-spot interviews for food service positions)
  • Whole Foods Co-op (hiring for new Denfeld store)
  • UDAC
  • AAR
  • Accend Services
