The trade with Brooklyn had been completed, but we had yet to actually see Kevin Garnett appear at Target Center as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.  That changed on Tuesday.

At a Target Center press conference, Kevin Garnett finally appeared and stated his reasons for waiving his no trade clause to return to the team that drafted him out of high school.  While there is still the desire to play, Garnett also looks forward to being a mentor to a young and talented roster.  His ultimate goal is to become the next owner of the team.

Here is a report from ESPN.com on his return.  I personally think this is a great thing for the team to do.  Despite leaving under disappointing circumstances, both sides have mended their past differences and fans are once again excited.  The Timberwolves will add another top prospect in the upcoming draft and I believe the future is bright.
