Kara Goucher Kicking Off Book Tour In Duluth Wednesday

If you've always wanted to meet Kara Goucher, here's your chance.

The two-time Olympian is set to make an appearance at The Bookstore at Fitger's Wednesday night. This Duluth stop will be the first of many on her upcoming book tour.

According to a tweet she sent out early Wednesday morning, she's excited to return to the place she hails from.

The Northland native penned a book titled 'Strong: A Runner's Guide To Boosting Confidence and Becoming The Best Version Of You.' It focuses on her journey and lessons learned while running all over the country and world.

Goucher will be signing copies of the book at the August Fitger Room. The event takes place from 6 to 7 p.m.

Fitger's is located at 600 East Superior Street in Duluth.

'Strong' is available August 14th.
