Minnesota is home to some great haunts. With Halloween right around the corner, I couldn't help but think of one of the scariest places I've ever been.

For my high school graduation gift years back, my sister took me on a road trip to The Palmer House. It is located in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. It is famous for being one of the most haunted hotels in Minnesota and in the entire country.

It definitely had a scary feel to it when we stayed there and we experienced a few very creepy moments. The creepiest, perhaps, was the fact that we weren't allowed in the basement. No one was and I'm pretty sure that still holds true today - with the exception of certain paranormal groups.

The cast and crew of Ghost Adventures was allowed to explore the basement in one of their more recent episodes.

It would be the perfect spot to celebrate Halloween.
