Here’s How You Can Help Repair The Lakewalk This Week

It's cold outside but braving it could mean the chance to help the community.

"Cold Front February" will jump start this Thursday, February 1st with kick-off offering a great chance to give back. Hint: it involves coffee and drinks!

Here's what you need to know.
Who: Greater Downtown Council, Duluth Coffee Company & The Greenery Cafe
What: Duluth's Largest Coffee Break
Where: Lake Place Park in Duluth
When: 10 a.m. Thursday February 1st. The event will last for about an hour.
Why: To raise money for Lakewalk restoration
*Coffee & donuts will be provided for free but a $5 donation is encouraged in exchange for the treats.

The fun will continue later Thursday afternoon.
Who: Canal Park Business Association & Grandma's Sports Garden
What: Duluth's Largest Happy Hour
Where: Grandma's Sports Garden in Canal Park
When: Also Thursday, February 1st around 4 p.m.
Why: To raise money for Lakewalk restoration
*Appetizers will be provided for free but $5 donation is encouraged in exchange for the food.

All money raised will benefit the Lakewalk after a brutal storm caused significant damage last October.
