Harold’s Flapjack Fiasco Breaks Another Record [Photo Gallery]

Nothing short of amazing!  It was another steady line of satisfied St. Jude donors at the Four Season's Sports Complex in Carlton again this year.  After a record breaking year last year we thought we had planned accurately for this year, but the number just keeps growing!!!   YOU make such an incredible difference!

"Thank you" just doesn't do justice for all the time, energy and donations for the continued research and for the families of children that are fighting cancer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Your should see the surprised smiles when I tell  people about the three Harold's Fiascos and the amount of money you help raise, it's priceless.  I wish I could take video of each and every one and share with you the gratitude I see in the faces of the families we help.

A new goal was set and passed again this year.  The Flippin' Flapjack Fiasco surpassed last year's amount with a grand total of  $5,840.00!!!!

There are SO many people to recognize this blog could go on and on and on....first and foremost, thank you to all who attended and helped us reach the incredible total this year.  To the businesses that donate product so that 100% of the donation can be given to the kids, thank you!  To our talented quilters, thank you for the hours of love and time that goes into the quilt and selling the tickets.  Harold, Kevin and all the volunteers (not just the guys anymore) your dedication and commitment to the cause (and each other) is endearing, you make my heart happy!  Many blessings to you for your generosity.

Harold’s Golf Fiasco will be held Saturday, August 26th at Pine Hill Golf Course. Tee times can be made by calling: 218.384.3727. Tons of prizes, lots of food from B & B Market, YOUR favorite beverage (and several on ice!), a Silent Auction, and a LIVE auction with fantastic one of kind items!  Come stay the day and ENJOY!

This year’s 6th Annual Hog Roastin’ Fiasco will be Saturday, September 9 from 1-5p in the Carlton VFW parking lot,124 Chestnut Ave in Carlton.  Enjoy a delicious old fashioned hog roast with cole slaw, Ray Schmitz’s famous baked beans and of course, all the fixin’s!  It’s only $6 and kids 5 and under eat FREE!
