If you're traveling near the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center between Thursday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 12, be forewarned that Harbor Drive will be closed.

The City of Duluth is working with Veit on the seawall restoration project in Canal Park and in order to get access to the seawall section near the Minnesota Slip Bridge (our favorite Blue Bridge), Veit will be closing off Harbor Drive to through traffic starting at 8:00 a.m. June 7. This will be done in order position a crane and other equipment
as close as possible to repair that section of the seawall.

According to The City, the road closure will extend from just past the Marcus movie theater entrance to the Blue Bridge. Pedestrian access is still provided from the movie theater around the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) and across the Blue Bridge.

Vista Fleet loading areas will not be impacted and will operate as it currently does.

With Grandma's Marathon weekend coming up Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16, Veit will work to make sure the area is ready for the weekend activities.

If you plan on being down in that area during this project, please look for designated walkways for safe access to where you need to go.
