This is sad news. The Goodwill location in Cloquet is officially closing its doors at the end of the month.

According to the Pine Journal, the store has been around for almost 30 years.

KBJR reports that the store is working on placing their current employees at other Goodwill locations, which means no one will lose their job as a result of the closing.

The good news is there are several other Goodwill locations across the Northland.

  • 1352 Arrowhead Road in Kenwood
  • 4883 Miller Trunk Highway in Hermantown
  • 700 Garfield Avenue in Duluth
  • 2911 Tower Avenue in Superior
  • 522 Chestnut Street in Virginia
  • 315 East Howard Street in Hibbing
  • 204 East Sheridan Street in Ely

These are just a few of the locations across Minnesota and Wisconsin. (You can see a full list here.)

The last official day of the store will be December 22nd. That is also the last day to donate.

The store is located at 1102 Cloquet Avenue. Shop in store while you still can!
