The second annual Tubing To Find A Cure For Scleroderma get's underway this weekend at Mont du Lac Resort. This is a fundraiser that has sort of taken the place of the walk for Scleroderma.

Eric Berg and many other volunteers put on this fun day to help raise awareness of the disease. Eric's Mom Carole Berg passed away a few years ago and many come in honor of her. Scleroderma causes hardening of the skin and eventually makes it hard to function by attacking the organs in the body. Carole organized the previous walk even though she had trouble physically, and was always heard saying to learn about Scleroderma and tell one person.

The event runs from 3pm to 8 pm Saturday March 3rd. $25 for Adults, and $15 for children above 7. There will be food, hot chocolate, s'mores, and a silent auction featuring many different things.

There will also be live music from Crescent Moon, who will play later in the evening. Mont du Lac Ski Resort, 3125 S. Mond du Lac Road, Superior, WI 54880

All proceeds go tot he Scleroderma Foundation, Minnesota Chapter.
