Important Message About Grandma's Marathon Race Packets

Thousands of Grandma's Marathon racers packets were stuffed at the Curling Club this week thanks to the volunteer hours and energy of students from the Lakeview Christian Academy. However, this year was a little light on packet material, here's why.

It's taken less volunteers to stuff the race packets this year due to something NEW this year! They have started to use a Virtual Event Bags platform to produce a digital event bag. This allows the racers to still benefit from the coupons and other valuable information, while maintaining an effort to go green. For those of you who are running this year, you should know you'll receive access to your bag starting next Wednesday, June 17.

There use to be many more students from Lakeview Christian Academy involved with the stuffing of packets before they began using virtual event bags. I had the honors of meeting the small hardworking crew this year.
