I wish I was going to be in town because I'd find a kid to take to this free Halloween event as the space nerd in me is intrigued, it sounds like kids and adults alike will enjoy this.

The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium at the University of Minnesota Duluth is having a free Halloween event for kids.  Candy of course will be part of the event, you can't have Halloween without it but there is a lot more than candy going on.  Kids can enjoy night sky viewing with telescopes, Planetarium shows, guest visitors, and various other activities.

So space loving adults, grab a kid or two and make your way to UMD's Planetarium on Halloween night from 6:00PM-8:30PM.  Be ready for lots of candy and space fun and remember that costumes are encouraged for this event.

The Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium is on the UMD main campus in Duluth located at 1049 University Drive.
