Experiencing Bentleyville For The First Time

Prior to actually hauling all my stuff to Duluth a few months back, I had about a week of down time to tell everyone the news! I started to notice a pattern: the first thing anyone mentioned was Bentleyville. Most people I talked to mentioned the huge light spectacle and told me how amazing it was and how I had to go right when it opened. Ever since, I have been so excited and counting down the days.

My time finally came this weekend! Part of my family was in town for Christmas and Bentleyville was part of the plan. We headed over a few minutes before the opening. The line was SO long but it went really fast once the lights turned on and the party started!

It took about thirty minutes from start to finish. There were treats and I even spotted Mrs. Clause! The lights were absolutely amazing. It was the perfect way to kick off December and get in the holiday spirit. I loved being surrounded by so many others who were just as excited as I was.

Another bonus: the weather was PERFECT. It wasn't too cold but just chilly enough to make it feel like winter (ha!).

I loved taking everything in. I loved the lights. I loved the attention to detail. I loved the festive spirit. My favorite part? THIS. Yes, I loved the televisions filled with elves. My sister loved them too!
