Duluth Huskies Read To Kids Before Game This Sunday

If you've been waiting for the perfect Duluth Huskies game to bring the kids to, this Sunday is THE one!  Several community entities have come together to provide our children with a day to remember and encourage our youth to love reading and books!

It's Books & Baseball Day at the Wade this Sunday, June 26, 2016.  Bring the family out to 101 North 35 Avenue West for unique time spent with members of the Huskies!  Now the game starts at 3:05p, but if you have a child that would like to meet some of the Huskies come a little early, at 2:05p.  That's when the gates open and children will be encourage to gather around the Huskies baseball players who plan on reading a book to them.  How cool is that?  Plus, thanks to the  Duluth Library Foundation, the Duluth Public Library, the Duluth Children’s Museum, Michael’s craft store, and the Friends of the Duluth Public Library each child gets a free book to take home (while supplies last).  Besides photo ops with the players, Clifford the Big Red Dog will be on hand too.
